If you’re looking for a job in 2025 and still not posting content on LinkedIn, I’m gonna hold your hand when I say this: you’re holding yourself back.

Every time I talk to students, I hear the same 3 excuses. Let’s break ‘em down:

“It’s cringe.”
You know what’s more cringe? Ghosting yourself out of career opportunities because you’re too scared to show up. Closed mouths don’t get callbacks. In 2025, visibility is the skill.

“I have nothing to write about.”
Yes, you do. You’re just overthinking it. That group project, summer job, or hard-learned lesson? It’s all content. You don’t need to be a thought leader. You need to send a signal.

“What if no one reads it?”
Then no one reads it. That’s how we all start. The ones who get noticed aren’t better than you—they’re just louder. And they keep showing up.

Here’s the truth: If your resume says "strong communicator" but you’ve never posted anything... you see the disconnect, right?
